1 - UNASHAMED GOSPEL
We affirm the sufficiency of Jesus Christ and the Bible. The inerrancy and authority of the Bible is paramount in the life of Rooted Church. The centrality of the Gospel impacts church life, leadership, discipleship, counseling, transformation, outreach, parenting, family, marriage, and much more (Genesis 3:15, Psalm 19, 119, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:3, Galatians 2:20, Romans 1:16, Ephesians 2:1-10).

2 - UNHINDERED WORSHIP
God is the object and focus of worship. God created and saved His children to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. As we worship together weekly, we pursue the unhindered worship of our Redeemer. We worship Jesus Christ both personally and corporately with clean hands and a pure heart (Psalms, John 4:23-24, Romans 12:1-2).

3 - UNDENIABLE IDENTITY
We were created to bear God’s image because we were made in God’s image. Our identity is rooted in the name of our Triune God. As disciples, we are sons & daughters to God the Father, servants of our Master Jesus Christ, and sent ones by the Holy Spirit. God’s design for men and women is equal in creation and salvation, yet different in function and roles in displaying the Gospel in the home, the church, and its surrounding communities (Genesis 1-2, Matthew 28:16-20, Colossians 1, Ephesians 5, 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, 1 Peter 3).

4 - UNCOMMON COMMUNITY
The priority of being an authentic community is the fruit of the Gospel. We are children of our God the Father, thus making us one family on mission with Christ. We believe that membership matters as we declare that we are members of God’s family of faith and strive to be a Gospel community in and around the RTP (Acts 2:39-47, Hebrews 10:24-25,13:7, 17).

5 - UNCOMPROMISED DISCIPLESHIP
Rooted Church’s priority is to faithfully pursue God’s mission for all nations both locally and globally. By God’s grace, we, as members, strive to unrelentingly make disciples who make disciples; make growth groups that multiply, ministry teams that expand, and to make churches that plant churches. We are committed to develop and commission pastors, missionaries, elders, interns and deacons who are Gospel-centered by displaying love, grace, truth, humility, servant-hood, kindness, sacrifice, and joy (Mark 10:45, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:2).

6 - UNAPOLOGETIC PREACHING
The expository preaching of God’s redemptive plan in Jesus Christ through the Bible is essential for the health of Rooted Church. (2 Timothy 4:2-4, Ephesians 6:19-20) By God’s grace, we expect the membership to exercise evangelism. God calls Christ-followers to be on mission as sent ones who boldly proclaim the Gospel and be prepared to make a gentle defense. We are called to be witnesses where we live, work, go to school, and play (Ephesians 6:19-20, 1 Peter 3:15).
7 - UNTHINKABLE PRAYER
Prayer is essential and central. God, the Holy Spirit, empowers fervent and unthinkable prayers of faith to accomplish what only God can do in our lives, in His Church and through humanity (Matthew 17:20, Ephesians 3:20-21, 5:18, 6:18).
